Just west of Downtown St.Pete, between the 1600 and 3000 blocks lies a great community (and our home) the Grand Central District. Formed in 2001, the area was designated as a
This is our favorite restaurant. The food is unbelievable. New owners have really upped their game as a powerhouse cuisine leader in St. Pete. The food of Beach Drive without the parking hassles. It does have traditional British fare but also a great selected of Italian and Vegetarian choices. They are only open at night except on Saturday and Sunday when their Brunch is out of this world! The atmosphere inside is as cool as it gets and large outside seating for when it's not too hot. Usually has live music on weekends.
My husband and I had lunch at The Queens Head today; meeting my Daughter and Grandson. We each ordered different dishes. WOW!!! The food was amazing!! The service was excellent, and the outdoor seating is colorful and comfortable. This was our first experience and it won't be our last!
Let me start with Steven was amazing! Attentive. Funny. And made the perfect breakfast recommendations. There was a nice Buzzy crowd enjoying their Sunday brunch. Perfect mix of music and conversation. We had the classic eggs Benedict and the poutine. Amazing. What flavorful tastes! We will be back, you should too.
From a friend's recommendation we met our daughter and son-in-law for an early dinner. It was excellent. Each of us had something different and we were not disappointed. From starter to dessert plus great selection of beers everything was wonderful. Cannot wait to go back and try something else. Thanks Stephen for great service!
Oh, I love this place! It is very creative with local art and music, and the food is out of this galaxy delicious. Very warm service, very nice people here. They have a great tap list and I enjoyed a Cycle Cream & Sugar draft. The food, OMG the food! We had the fried chickpeas to start, a genius starter, with flash fried chickpeas and dusted with smoked paprika and parsley. I had the vegetarian shepherd's pie with melted cheese on top, with pickled onions and arugula that was astoundingly good. Seriously can't recommend this place enough.
I've heard about this spot for a while now. I understand they have new Ownership. We stopped by on a Saturday night. Whatever the new Owner is doing, she should continue it. We loved everything about Queens Head. A great spot to come and chill out and eat good English (and other) food. We will be back for sure!
